Why hypoallergenic?

Many traditional waxes contain harsh resins and chemicals that can lead to redness, bumps and prolonged irritation, especially on delicate areas. By removing common allergens and skin-stressors, we are able to provide a Brazilian waxing experience that is gentle as it is effective. Whether you have chronically sensitive skin or have had 'bad' reactions in the past, 10 years of expertise combined with high quality wax ensure your skin stays calmer!

Frequently asked questions

How long does my hair need to be?

For best results, your hair should be about the length of a grain of rice (1/4 inch). If you've been shaving, please allow at least 2-3 weeks of growth so the wax can properly grip the hair.

Does it hurt?

While everyones pain tolerance is different, the hair is still being removed all the way down to the root, but the pain should be quick and tolerable! With regular waxing, pain is minimized even further.

Can I get waxed while on my period?

Absolutely! Just please arrive with a fresh tampon or menstrual cup. Keep in mind that your skin may be slightly more sensitive during this time, but we can still proceed with the service.

What is the best way to prevent ingrown hairs?

Consistency is key! Starting 48 hours after your wax, you should exfoliate the area 2-3 times a week. Moisturize daily!

What should I avoid after my wax?

For the first 24-48 hours, try to avoid "the 3 S's": Sweat (heavy workouts, sexual activity and saunas), Sun (tanning), and Swimming (chlorine or salt water). Your pores are open and vulnerable, so giving them time to breath is essential.

What is your cancellation policy?

To respect both our time and other clients waiting for appointments, we kindly ask for at least 24-hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Appointments canceled within 24-hours will be charged 50% of the service fee. No-shows will be charged 100% of the scheduled service. The system sends out reminders 48, 24 and 2 hours prior to appointments. The first reminder gives plenty of time to cancel or reschedule without being charged.

Are children allowed?

Unless the child is receiving a service, no. If absolutely necessary, they can wait in the waiting area located right outside the studio. This is a safety policy due to: Hot wax, chemicals and sharp tools.
